Want to help out at Rochester Primary School this school year? We have lots of events and activities throughout the year and need volunteers to make them happen!

There are many ways to get involved, including:

• Special recess activities

• School events and celebrations

• Classroom activities

• Seasonal and holiday events

• FAST events and fundraisers

• Helping teachers and staff

• Set-up and clean-up

Volunteer Background Checks

All volunteers are required to complete a background check each school year. A new background check is required for the 2026–2027 school year, even if you have volunteered at RPS in the past.

You can complete the background check online or stop by the RPS office to fill out a paper copy.

Please plan ahead! Background checks can take time to process, so we recommend completing yours at the beginning of the school year and well before the date you plan to volunteer.

Please note: You only need to complete one form per volunteer, not one for each child attending RPS.
